Everyday… we have an opportunity to respect and care for life
Everyday… we can reach out and be an inspiration of hope for others
Everyday… we can have a forgiving heart
Remember… Life is a gift.
During this pandemic, many lives have been lost and disrupted. I am sure everyone has had moments of deep fear, sad loss and worry. Together, we can uplift one another. Life is a gift.
Let us care for it… together.
Stop… and reflect… the cross and those flowers remind us of loss. Let us hold each other in prayer, comfort and compassionate solidarity. Take a moment today to pray for the gift of life.

Share the fruits of your contemplation
…be grateful for what you have
…the simple things in life appreciate more
…every day is a gift
…donate to Food for the Poor
…don’t waste things …or time
…share your smile…not your frown
…be patient…with yourself …and others
…send a prayer note to someone this week
…surprise yourself..spend time with silence
…let your cross teach you…about faith and hope
…let someone else’s cross teach you…about love
…be connected to Jesus…read Matthew 25
Now what are the fruits of your contemplation.
Feb 27, 2021 | Call to Action
Surrender:
…to all that holds you back from life-giving ways
…from holding back acceptance of all humanity
…to being a servant of God’s Love
…to the holy courage of speaking truth with dignity
…to living your faith by caring your cross
…from letting your fears control your life
…from thinking you cannot get up again
Surrender… with a prayer in your heart. May our fragile souls expand and be fortified as we see that Jesus has been there all along waiting in the surrender. In the surrender, hope is born of despair and faith arises renewed.
May this March that brings forth A Holy Week be a reminder of the joy-filled graces God shares for the journey.
Feb 18, 2021 | Thoughts for Meditation
Think of this Lenten season as a sanctuary light…that no matter where we are and what we are feeling. God is there….
Pray to day in (what I call….) three 5 minute ponderings with Jesus….
What do I give up?
What do I dare to change?
What is God calling me to….
…do for others
…do for myself
How am I becoming the gift of the sign of the ashes….
….to believe more in a spiritual self
….to trust the light of my own inner sanctuary
Pray your 5 minute ponderings wherever you are…….
Remember……ashes show us how human we are …and that is a blessing.
