Such a wonderful day when we ……open the windows of our heart…put our faith into good actions…welcome a stranger as a neighbor…notice all the goodness in the worldHeart to Heart shining with……compassion for those in need…charity in words and deeds…patience and perseverance…joy in simple waysOh to be so bright that……there is no sadness that is not comforted…forgiveness is given with all our heart…we mirror Jesus in our daily actions…prayer is whispered throughout the daySuch Joy to become……a humble dwelling place for the Lord of Love…a servant and good steward of all of creation…quiet and still in reflecting on our call to discipleship…one who shares the “Presence” of the Holy inordinary and sometimes extraordinary waysLet us dare everyday to live with an “open heart”that shines with the compassion of the Son~~Sun.
Sometimes one wonders what can I do….
…to help someone feel better
…to soothe a deep sorrow
…to bring peace into the world
…to care deeply..
It is not so much in how much one does
but rather in the spirit of love that is so…
…encouraging
…selfless in the giving
…full of compassion
…humble and sincereTo plant a spark of hope brings…
…heart-peace to someone’s journey
…a sense of light into a space of darkness
…kindness wrapped in grace
…joy in simple waysA small good deed is…
…given with generosity
…shared with an abundance of charity
…full of Good Samaritan friendship
…a blessing for surePerhaps the small good deed is…
…a card or email sent
…a whispered prayer
…a respectful “presence” shared
…a reflection of faith shared quietlyWe are for one another …a small good deed when we…
…are a Christ -Bearer
…a radiant star of extra kindness
…a listening spirit of compassion
…a patient spark of hope rebornPlant some goodness today in an ordinary way.

My one holy-thought will be ~~Pray for all who read your humble facebook thoughts.
The month of October begins with the Feast day of
St.Therese of Lisieux….I think of her little way of being
God’s Goodness in the world. Like a little leaf on a tree
holding on and letting go and letting God’s call to be
Love bring us to where we are meant to serve with an open heart.
This month brings exhibits of the season of Autumn with leaves changing colors
and weather days with people in sweaters and jackets …like a sign of warmth
and compassion of caring by wrapping our words and deeds with extra kindness
October has a brisk and vital spirit of energy that like the Gospel invites each one of us
to be the breath of kindness and mercy, charity and forgiveness.
A wonderful, holy and life giving month that can inspire us to put on the garment of…
…generosity of time and presence
…centering our life in Good Samaritan ways
…graciousness of a spirit of welcome and hospitality
May we each inhale the faithfulness of this Autumn October
and exhale our actions with heart-peace for all of humanity.
