The month of October begins with the Feast day of
St.Therese of Lisieux….I think  of her little way of being
God’s Goodness in the world.   Like a little leaf on a tree
holding on and letting go and letting God’s call to be
Love bring us to where we are meant to serve with an open heart.
This month brings exhibits of the season of Autumn with leaves changing colors
and weather days with people in sweaters and jackets …like a sign of warmth
and compassion of caring by wrapping our words and deeds with extra kindness
October has a brisk and vital spirit of energy that like the Gospel invites each one of us
to be the breath of kindness and mercy, charity and forgiveness.
A wonderful, holy and life giving month that can inspire us to put on the garment of…
…generosity of time and presence
…centering our life in Good Samaritan ways
…graciousness of a spirit of welcome and hospitality
May we each inhale the faithfulness of this Autumn October
and exhale our actions with heart-peace for all of humanity.

We think of changes in the weather
Leaves on the trees so green
Getting ready for slow color changes
We humans too~~
think of changes we can share to
make life better for one another
Day by day slowly we find ways to
change for the better .
Such as ….
…a better attitude
…an open heart
…an extended hand with a good deed
…an extra kind word
Let us welcome
this September by
being Jesus’ Love incarnate
in our daily …
…prayers we each can offer in consolation
like a shining leaf on the trees of life
…actions of being an apostle of love
especially for those in need
…challenges where we learn to trust
the Lord is always with us

brings us to a new month that also welcomes
a new season…Autumn
What will you be doing this September that
shines your light with joy and hope,
peace and compassion?

Let your light shine and be a leaf of faithfulness
on your Tree of life.

August… the month of warmth and flowers
the month of Mary’s Feast
fills us with a Faith that…
…trusts more
…cares deeply
…prays with an open heart
…seeks good meaning and purpose

August… reminds us of appreciating…
…nature’s message of sun-light
…Mary’s holy beads of love
…little steps of kind inspiration
…the blessings of compassion shared and received

August… brings us to a sacred space of…
…quiet and solitude
…reflection and holiness
…comfort and consolation
…courage and acceptance

Take these August days…and let the warmth of
Jesus love and Mary’s faithfulness be your
companions of goodness and joy.

The clouds seem so close to the earth
as if we could touch them and feel the
soft gentleness of our Creator’s love.

The Sun shines with its’ extra warmth that
fills our hearts and encourages us to…
…walk with nature as a gift of joy
…pick a flower to bloom on our kitchen table
reminding us that we too as a human being can
bloom and shine with Jesus ‘ love just where we are.

Feel the warmth of the Sun-Shining as it arrives and helps us to
welcome the slower days of Summer time and to put
extra love, hope, peace and joy into each day.
